nuraghe

Arzachena is a place to visit not only for the sea and beaches, but also for the archaeological sites that make it an ideal spot for holidays in Sardinia.

The Nuraghic owes its name to the term, which is the Sardinian monument considered the most representative of this civilization, the "Nuraghe" indeed.

Arzachena is built on a hill and is surrounded by a large granite rock and granite hills, covered with Mediterranean vegetation and olive groves.

Environmental conditions have given rise over time to the granite rocks and have created those cavities that were used by the ancient nuragic peoples as shelters, then used by shepherds as deposits of cattle and cheese.
