Excursions from Porto Cervo and Costa Smeralda

To Liscia di Vacca, Capo Ferro and Monte Moro

On the way to Baja Sardinia, north of the Costa Smeralda, there's Liscia di Vacca, which houses a beautiful village, unfortunately in the middle of a series of events and legal complications. Along the road to Porto Cervo Marina, take a fork and go on Cala Gran, we recommend the hike to the wild and high cliffs of Capo Ferro.

Beyond the building of the Old Lighthouse, a dirt road follows the high coast a few dozen meters above the sea, until you get off the path to the beacon that indicates the Passo delle Bisce. In front there's the flat Isle of Bisce, with its single beach on the west side. Continue along the path along the coast reaching the New Lighthouse and from here regain the road home. Towards Arzachena, just a few kilometres after Abbiadori, a road leads in about 7 km. on the Monte Moro, a trip not to be missed because of its naturalistic value. A walk can be performed through a special path also on a mountain bike, which dips into the Mediterranean vegetation, between granite boulders by the evocative forms.

From the top (422 m.) you can walk up a stairway leading to the radio station, which offers an amazing panorama, stretching from the archipelago of La Maddalena to Tavolara.
